Dear Ms. Liping,
Thank you for your valuable time during the tele-conversation with our group mate Daniel.
We understand that you would require us to furnish more information regarding our intended collaboration with your organization as part of our project.
We would firstly like to acknowledge the significant amount of work that Andrew and Grace Home has put in to help troubled youths and to provide temporary refuge particularly for teenage girls who have problems with their families. Andrew and Grace Home is definitely an organization vital in our intended cooperation, and we sincerely hope that you would be able to take some time off to consider our proposal.
We are a group of Undergraduate students from the Singapore Management University, and are currently working on a Project, WHYteboard , as part of our Leadership and Team Building Module. Our project is intended to enhance the welfare of the society, by moulding the future of the younger generation of our country.Through our teleconversation with your good self and Daniel, our group understands your deepest concerns of nurturing the developtment of the teens from the home.
Currently we’re still in the planning stage, the project as of now still stands as a proposal, and we await approval from our Professor, but this is the plan we have thus far:
We intend to embark on this project; beginning with building a business area within your organization's premise, and by furnishing the area so that it's suitable for the teens to conduct a business. We understand the importance of integrating the teens back into the society, and it is of utmost importance that they learn to be self sufficient by picking up some entrepreneurship skills along the way. In addition to that, as you have proposed, we would be planning some course for the girls, or work on an area that the home requires us to work on.
We are deeply interested in seeking your organization’s help in this aspect. The project will most likely come into full swing in February 2007 this year, with sessions held somewhere in late January- early March.
Our group is deeply aware of the heavy workload at Andrew and Grace Home. Therefore, should you be so kind as to set aside some precious time for us, we would look forward to making this collaboration a success.
Due to your busy schedule, we hope that you could perhaps propose an earliest possible date which we could meet you to further discuss this proposal.
We seek your kind understanding and assistance. I would greatly appreciate it if this mail could be forwarded to the right department if I have mis-sent it, and in the unfortunate circumstance that you may be unable to accommodate our request a nil reply would be greatly appreciated as well.
