Dear Mr. Joel,

Thank you for your valuable time during the tele-conversation with our fellow group mate, Daniel.

We understand that you would require us to furnish more information regarding our intended collaboration with your organization as part of our project.

We would firstly like to acknowledge the significant amount of work that Chen Su Lan Methodist Home has put in, to nurture every child to his/her full potential, ingrained with good Christian character to be happy and responsible members of their respective families and the community at large since its inception in 1968. Chen Su Lan Methodist Home is definitely an organization vital in our intended cooperation, and we sincerely hope that you would be able to take some time off to consider our proposal.

We are a group of Undergraduate students from the Singapore Management University, and are currently working on a Project, which is yet to be titled, as part of our Leadership and Team Building Module. Our project is intended to enhance the welfare of the society, by moulding the future of the younger generation of our country.Through our teleconversation with your good self and Daniel, our group understands your deepest concerns of securing a solid foundation for the children's education.

Currently we’re still in the planning stage, the project as of now still stands as a proposal, and we await approval from our Professor, but this is the plan we have thus far:

We intend to embark on this project; beginning with helping them academically with their schoolwork by providing tution to the kids at the home. We understand that by just having our group over, it might not be sufficient in the long run in terms of the kids vs tutors ratio. In anticipation of this issue, we intend to collaborate with another school to carry on this tution scheme in the long run for your organization. Our group believes that constant practice and follow up will also be the key to success accademically. Therefore,in addition, we also plan to set up a study corner, where we intend to get copies of old ten year series and assesment books, to create a cohesive group study area for the kids at the home.

We are deeply interested in seeking your organization’s help in this aspect. The project will most likely come into full swing in February 2007 this year, with sessions held somewhere in late January- early March. We will then collaborate with another school to carry on this tution scheme on a long term basis.

Our group is deeply aware of the heavy workload at Chen Su Lan Methodist Home. Therefore, should you be so kind as to set aside some precious time for us, we would look forward to making this collaboration a success.

Due to your busy schedule, we hope that you could perhaps propose an earliest possible date which we could meet you to further discuss this proposal.

We seek your kind understanding and assistance. I would greatly appreciate it if this mail could be forwarded to the right department if I have mis-sent it, and in the unfortunate circumstance that you may be unable to accommodate our request a nil reply would be greatly appreciated as well.
