Wow! You guys are flooding with great ideas, cool! Well then, I have spoken to e SAGEs, here's what they say:
1. They feel that for a short term CIP Project, we're trying to do too much, they'll prefer if we do a simpler CIP, so that its easier for everyone.
2. They would that our Project mainly involves a Communications Workshop, followed by a learning journey that we'll adopt. (PY also mentioned smth impt: We have initiate a certain portion of our project, cos its one of the assessment criteria. =)
3. They want to have a meeting on Friday, 1430 @ SAGE, but we need to have our proposal to present to them.
4. They think Matthew very cute =)

so sorry was out for the sunday.. just got home not long ago...
yeah actually im fine with either having the event or not...but wad im tinking is tat since he focuses alot on the process etc it will b a good xperience for us all also if we actually manage to plan a successful event apart from the usual home visits.. (: tats the nice part of it lar. but if u guys wanna scrap it, den im also okay (:
event..well really hav to depend on alot of factors i dont tink we can choose a date that suits us only u see... wad if it involves sage? take for example, or whichever school we want to involve. i tink this has to wait for the 2 main organizations. if we pick a date as we please...den if the organizations cannot make it?den it wudnt be really tat good le.
proposal wise.. i have an idea to suggest how we gonna present it.like in the beginning we could do a voice recording.. like play it on a tape player or sth...off all the lights..and shine only the light on the tape player...( dunno wadzit called. radio or tape player) give the audience the effect like listening to radio like tat..den later like radio spoil or sth...( lost the channel of communication_). den later den can conitnue wif ppt presentation or sth...just a crazy thought. haahaa...

hi all. =))
well.. i thk elvin raised issues there that we have not considered (the puppet shows, songs, games and foood part on the who, where and how). but is that the thing that we're doing? i tot we are more concentrated on visiting them? but otherwise, i thk games a bit redundant, cos they might be too old to play right?
the proposal part is another impt thing as we're currently left hanging by our mr phua frm sage. but meanwhile, i support dan's idea on at least drafting one now. becos we definitely need it soon. i recall also that we once talked abt using posters to advertise and inform others of our event. is poster necessary? hmm.. jus a thought on my part. unless we say we'll use posters to encourage smu students to join us on that day of execution such that we can also involve the sch and educate our own uni students of the importance of communicating with the elderly. just a suggestion. yeapp
and yes, we have yet to discuss which sch are we proposing our idea to...
uh huh. and... how are we gg to present our proposal? ppt? is it the detailed proposal (date and all... where.. time kind of thing) or jus a brief description. becos if its the former, we have alot to discuss. the date of our execution.
also, recall that we've to think of things such as a grp name, grp proj title. yeah?
okayy. my thoughts are messy as well. but thats my take on things right now. =)) enjoy the time left of our weekend!
